As our area continues to grow, part of the EDC’s mission is to support and attract growing businesses that would enhance our existing business community – specifically in the areas of new capital investment and new job creation. The BRIEFcase program has two editions – The Relocation Edition and the Local Edition.
Local Edition
This incentive pool supports the growth and development of existing small businesses already located in the Martinsville-Henry County area by providing capital funding assistance for taxable capital expenditures made during a specific period.

This initiative focuses on smaller businesses and industries from outside of Martinsville-Henry County that may be looking for a fresh start in a new community.
